Over the years, we have shaped six main project formats. Each one responds to a particular situation: discovering a neighborhood through a multimedia investigation, making a film together, connecting two neighborhoods, hosting an artist’s practice, imagining the future of a place with its residents, or building a collective archive.
These formats are not fixed products. They give partners and participants a clear framework, but they remain adaptable to the group, the time available, the mediums, the questions the neighborhood is raising, and the options for a public presentation. What holds them together is less a standard length than a shared progression: listening, learning, making, choosing, going public, and leaving a trace.
Point of View is the fullest of our investigative workshops. It combines several practices to produce a grounded reading of a neighborhood, and it is often a first encounter with the mOst method.
Video documentary lets a group make a film together around a subject, a memory, or a transformation that calls for time, a narrative, and a voice built with care.
Crossed perspectives connects two working-class neighborhoods through images, sounds, and stories. It does not set out to compare them, but to share experiences back and forth and build a correspondence.
Community arts residency brings an artist’s research into dialogue with residents’ knowledge and practices. Engagement happens through making work together and through a public presentation in the neighborhood.
Neighborhood of the future uses creative work to imagine the future of a place collectively. Maps, photographs, spoken words, and drawings make residents’ needs, fears, desires, and proposals visible.
Living archives documents memories, ways of using places, and transformations from the inside. What it produces is designed to stay accessible, to be passed on, and to remain useful to the community.
Every project is tailor-made. It can take the form of a short series, a workshop residency, a program running over several months, or a multi-year partnership. The public presentation and how the work will be preserved are thought through from the start, so that the process does not stop at the last workshop.
