ce qui compte, c’est toute l’histoire

- Shown in turn in Champagne, at the Musée Sauvage, at the Robert-Desnos library, and on the Val Nord concrete deck.
Exploratory walks, apartment visits, encounters, story collecting, digging through archives: Laura Ben Hayoun and Dohyeon Eom’s residency connected personal and collective memory. Film photography in 35 mm and medium format, Super 8, drawing, writing, and editing brought out echoes between fragments of lives and fragments of the city.
The public presentation traveled: to Champagne, the Musée Sauvage, the Robert-Desnos library, and the Val Nord concrete deck, as long strips of images unrolled on the ground, down the steps, and even across a piano.

public presentation · January 2026
at the musée sauvage
In January 2026, the public presentation moved into the Musée Sauvage, under the roof beams: hanging banners, long strips of images unrolled on the floor, draped over the grand piano and inside an old wardrobe lit by yellow neon tubes. Outside, the strips ran down the steps of the courtyard.
