- Group exhibition “Franc-Moisin: des bidonvilles à la place Rouge,” booklet, and sound recordings.
From October to January, with residents, the Amicale des locataires (the tenants’ association), and the Maison de quartier (the community center), a series of workshops set out to bring a many-sided memory to light: the market gardens of the past, the shantytowns, the building of the housing estate, the place des Sports, the canal, and today’s demolitions.
“People tend to say Franc-Moisin was built little by little, but today it’s being torn down little by little.” The participants’ photographs respond to the archival images they looked at together.
