Two neighborhoods that are much talked about but rarely portrayed from the inside speak to each other directly: La Noue-Clos Français, in Montreuil, and Rocinha, in Rio.

- Exhibition in the neighborhood: on the sports field fences, under the archways, in the building lobbies.
It all started with outreach, right at the foot of the buildings: a regular presence, no experience needed, where children, teenagers, and adults got their hands on the cameras. Then, during “L’Été est à Noue,” photography, writing, and sound workshops documented a high point in the life of the neighborhood.
Participants wrote the project text, learned about curatorial choices, and planned the hanging: their first steps as junior guides. The exhibition spread across the neighborhood, on the sports field fences, under the archways, and on the tiled walls of the building lobbies.
