The group, a mix of teenagers and families, made the tools of inquiry and storytelling their own: starting from the neighborhood itself, producing images and words, then giving them meaning through captions, narrative, assemblage, and the way they are laid out in space.
Drawing and collage opened up a forward-looking dimension: bringing the neighborhood’s memory into dialogue with the desire to transform it.
