- A traveling outdoor exhibition, in large format, in four places around the Bode: the praça Seu Inácio, the beco do S, the harbor and the Livroteca.
The Livroteca Brincante do Pina is a community library in the heart of the Bode. With it, workshops let residents map their neighborhood, photograph it and gather its voices: the women shelling sururu mussels, the marisqueiras of the beco do S, the maracatu Porto Rico, the grandmothers’ houses. The Livroteca’s children wrote all the captions.
“A vida no Bode tá boa porque tem maré para pescar”: designed to travel and to be seen outdoors, the exhibition went up on March 3 in large format in four places around the Bode, where the photos were taken: the praça Seu Inácio, the beco do S, the harbor and the Livroteca.
