- The exhibition “les couleurs du quartier,” indoors and outdoors, on the neighborhood’s fences.
With the Espace Laïque Vernonnais, the group walked all over Les Valmeux: the Tour Ariane, the tallest tower in Vernon, with its fifteen floors and its spiral staircase, the buildings of La Futaie and La Briqueterie, the Futaie park under the autumn leaves, the zup’s sports court, the Marie-Jo Besset school, the high school. Each photograph was given a title and a caption written by the girl who took it.
In their text, they say what holds the neighborhood together, “the solidarity and respect between us,” and what it lacks: health services and play areas, cleanliness, social mix. They also describe a neighborhood set apart from the rest of the town, and young people who keep opening up to the outside world.
